I have been surrounded by cats, dogs, chickens and horses my whole life and have always been known to have a sketch book in hand capturing the spirits of the animals around me. Commission a hand-drawn coloured pencil portrait!

A unique way to capture a lasting memory of your beloved companion. Coloured pencils create a delicate and realistic portrait with an incredible level of detail and texture. This medium provides a smooth blend of colours and a fine control, bringing out all those tiny characteristics of your pet. Coloured pencil portraits are also thoughtful, personal gifts for your loved ones.

Standard Background: Each coloured pencil portrait is produced on a plain white background. However, for an oil on canvas piece, the standard background is considered a solid colour of your choice. No additional cost.

BACKGROUNDS

Simple Background: If you would like a simple background, I offer this for 20% on top of the initial total. A simple background is a great way to add context to your portrait. Please note, this includes adding a solid colour of your choice to the background to your coloured pencil portrait.

Complex Background: If you would like a complex background, I am more than happy to help situate your pet in a setting of their favourite place or perhaps somewhere that holds a special memory. I offer a complex background for an additional 50% of the initial total.

  • For all portraits, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required with the remaining 80% to be paid on completion.

  • Please expect between 2-4 weeks for coloured pencil portraits and 4-6 weeks for oil based portraits. If you would like a portrait sooner, I can offer a 3 week deadline for an additional 25% on top of the original total.

  • If you would like multiple subjects in one portrait, I am able to combine multiple photo references into one, please insure that the additional photos are of a similar angle and photo quality. Each pet added is an additional 35% of the initial portrait.

  • Want to buy them a thoughtful and personal gift but you cant find the right photo? Choosing a photo of their pet can be challenging – I offer gift vouchers, allowing that special someone to chose their own favourite photo and still receive a memorable and thoughtful gift.
